We collect only the information needed to operate our business: process warranty registrations, respond to contact requests, and manage customer accounts. We do not sell your personal information.

Information you provide:

• Warranty registration: owner name, email, phone, installation address, equipment serial numbers, contractor and dealer details.
• Contact form: name, email, phone, and message.
• Account: name, email, and password (stored securely as an encrypted hash).
• Chatbot: question text and topic, used only to improve support.

Information collected automatically:

• Session cookie (sunair_token) to keep you signed in. It is required for login and contains no tracking.
• Local preferences stored in your browser (theme, form drafts, tutorial state). These never leave your device.

• Staff activity log (SunAir employees and administrators only): actions taken in the internal system, with the IP address they came from.
• Technical error reports sent to our error-monitoring provider (Sentry) when something breaks on the site, which may include the page address and basic device information.

We do not use third-party advertising trackers, analytics pixels, or social media cookies. Like most websites, your browser does contact a few outside services to display the page: Google Fonts (to load the site typeface) and Unsplash (for some photos on the home page). Those services can see your IP address when your browser requests their files.

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We may share it only with service providers who help us operate this website, under confidentiality obligations, or when required by law. Our current providers are:

• Vercel: website hosting.
• Neon: database hosting (stores warranty registrations, contacts, and accounts).
• Postmark: sending confirmation and report emails.
• Sentry: technical error monitoring.

We keep warranty registrations for as long as the warranty is in effect and as needed to meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations. Registrations that we reject (for example, because the serial number or model could not be verified as a genuine SunAir product) are kept, marked as rejected, as a record of what was submitted. Contact form messages and chatbot questions are kept only as long as needed to respond to you and improve support. You can ask us to correct or delete your information at any time (see "Your Rights"), subject to legal record-keeping requirements.

We use industry-standard safeguards: encrypted connections (HTTPS), securely hashed passwords, rate limiting, and restricted administrative access. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, but we work to protect your data.

Depending on your state of residence (for example, under the California Consumer Privacy Act or similar state laws), you may have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you.
• Request correction or deletion of your data.
• Opt out of any sale or sharing of personal information (we do not sell data).
